Year 4

December 2023 - The fourth and final installment out of four of a cinematic series showing my years at college. Showing my current life and what I'm doing. Just a memory recorded to video. The songs I used are what I think to be a representation of the year, sort of like a theme.

This year was a bit different. Not only was it my last, but it was definitely more my speed and how I wanted to live. I don’t think I’ve had any friends for the past year or more. My successes end when it comes to my social life. But I feel like I prospered in many other things during this time. I’ve built and grown my creative business larger than I ever have before. I also continued taekwondo, with post-grad plans to become a master and business manager at my school back home.

My focus this year was set on self-improvement and building for the future. I never clicked with college. Fact is, I hated college. But these 4 years, technically 3.5, gave me the time to figure out who I am, what I stand by, my morals, and to improve myself physically and financially.

I picked up going to the gym earlier this year. Not only has it put some meat on my bones, as looking back at years 1-3 I look like a twig, but it also has allowed me to improve myself physically and mentally.

Staying in, not having any friends, participating in my school’s taekwondo club, and spending time with my girlfriend have all shown me what I truly want. Peace. To settle down and not worry about the drama and social kicks college “kids” get from the “experience” here at one of the top “party schools”. These past years have been rough in their own ways, especially dealing with myself not being interested in those things and losing many “friends” along the way. Even getting kicked out of the newspaper, The University Star, also because of a difference of ideas even though I was with them for 3 years.

Anyway, my usual week consists of going to school, working on my business, working out at Texas State’s Taekwondo Club, practicing taekwondo on my own and finally earning my 5th degree black belt, working on client projects, creating episodes for my new podcast, making films, taking photos, and spending time with my girlfriend.

For those who have been following me since Year 1, thank you for watching me grow and following me for these years through these videos. If you are watching this and you know me in real life and we don’t really connect often, hopefully this allowed you to see into my life and sort of catch up with me through the years to see what I was up to.

You’ll now find me back in my hometown and doing what I love. Creating content and teaching taekwondo.
